During the add asset process, we request a photo of your item as well as a photo of you with your item (a "selfie"). These photos help us establish that the item exists and matches the details you have provided, and that the item is in your possession.
The photos of your item and you with your item are a requirement for cover – i.e. in order for your cover to be valid and for any claims to be considered, you must take these photos per the instructions displayed when you add your item in the JaSure app.
If you provide incorrect photos during the add asset process, you must update the photos by following the steps below.
If cover is currently on for the item you want to update, you must switch off cover for this item before you can update it. Then:
Tap on the item name.
Select the ‘Asset’ tab at the top of the screen.
Scroll down to the ‘Update asset’ button and follow the step by step update asset process.
Lastly, if you switched your cover off in order to update your item, remember to switch your cover back on.
